Local Missions
We believe that you are never more like Jesus than when you are serving others. We are constantly reminding followers of Jesus to “be His hands and feet where you live, work, play, and shop”. It is every believer’s great privilege to be carriers of the Gospel to all parts of our city.
We also partner with great local ministries like the Triangle Church Planting Network and With Love From Jesus to serve our community.
Global Missions
In Acts 1:8 Jesus instructs us that “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This means that we should tell our neighbors in the US about God’s love and our neighbors all over the world about God’s love. At Journey, home missions and foreign missions are very important to us! Our philosophy from the early days of Journey, has been for us to partner with the missionaries that we support.
We believe that it is very important for everyone at Journey to understand what missions are all about and to help with this, we lead short-term mission trips to various parts of the world throughout the year. We partner with missionaries and have had people from Journey serve in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Uganda.
