2014 Theme – MOVE!

We want kids to move it.
 From here to there. From bored to passionate. From selfish to giving. From unfocused to wide awake. This summer, we’re taking a look at the lives of some people in the Bible who changed direction and moved. And they all had one thing in common: Somewhere along the way, they came face to face with Jesus. They discovered who He was. And once that happened, there was no standing still or going back.


God moved toward us, first. Now it’s our turn. Move!


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Who can go to camp?
Camp is available for rising 3rd-6th graders. In addition, some of our leaders from Journey Kids will be going along as well!

Where is the camp?
We will be going to Wingate University in Wingate, NC, which is where the camp will meet. Campers will room with people from our church in dorms (2 per room). Leaders will be in a separate room but next door to campers. All rooms and dorms are securely locked. Travel to and from the camp will be via 15-passenger vans driven by our leaders.

When is it?
CampKidJam is July 14-17 (Monday-Thursday). We will leave Monday (around noon) afternoon and return Thursday (around 1:30pm).

How much is it?
This year, camp is $280 and includes all eight meals at camp, evening snacks, transportation, and a camp t-shirt. It is suggested that your camper bring between $10-$30 for the camp store. Please do not send more than $30.

When is the registration deadline?
The absolute deadline for camp registration is April 28th. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions. A $50 deposit will hold your spot and is non-refundable after April 28th. The remaining balance can be broken up over several weeks and months with the final payment due on June 24th. Please read the CAMP OVERVIEW document for a suggested payment plan.
