LEAD PASTOR

Jimmy Carroll serves as the Lead Pastor of Journey Church. Jimmy and his wife Beverly grew up in Raleigh and have served together in ministry since 1989. In December of 2004, God impressed on Jimmy the vision to start Journey Church in North Raleigh. Jimmy began Journey with a God-given mission, which is “To help people follow Jesus.” Since starting the church, he hasn’t looked back from that mission. It has truly been amazing to see how God is using Journey to reach others with the gospel and help them grow up in their faith.

 

Jimmy and Beverly were childhood sweethearts and both began their relationship with God as teenagers. They were married (1989) and have one son Austin (1991). Jimmy, Beverly, and Austin do ministry as a family and when you attend Journey you will see that lived out.
