Jimmy Carroll

Jimmy serves as the Lead Pastor of Journey Church.  Jimmy and his wife, Beverly, grew up in Raleigh, but are new to the North Raleigh area.  Jimmy truly has been gifted to lead Journey.  He has been in ministry for over 16 years and has lead in every area of a local church. In December of 2004, God impressed upon him to start Journey Church in North Raleigh to help people connect with God and others and equip them for success in life.   He hasn’t looked back since, and it is amazing what God has done in a short amount of time.

Jimmy and Beverly were childhood sweethearts and both began their relationship with God as teenagers.  They were married in 1989, and their son Austin, a student at North Raleigh Christian Academy, was born in 1991.  Jimmy, Beverly and Austin view ministry as a family affair and when you attend Journey you will see that lived out.
